There will be two debates featuring Jordan School District Board candidates.
1. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. A meet and greet will start at 6:30, and the debate begins at 7:00. It will be at the Legacy Retirement Residence, 1617 Temple Lane, South Jordan. This building is west of the LDS Jordan River Temple.
2. Thursday October 23, 2014 from 6:30 -- 8:30 at Elk Ridge Middle School.
Three Board seats are up for election (precincts 2, 3, and 7). Only precinct 7 is in West Jordan. Peggy Jo Kennett has held that seat for several years, but is not seeking re-election. Running for that seat are: Teresa Atherley and Jen Atwood. If you wish to get to know these women a little better, this might be a good opportunity.
